For anyone with Real Player and 40 minutes to spare, I suggest watching the oral argument in Barker v. State as a warm-up for tomorrow's arguments in Heath and Smylie. In the last two paragraphs in this previous post, I briefly discussed one possible relationship between the arguments and decision in Barker and tomorrow's Blakely cases.
